Skin Problems

Our body is composed of trillions of cells which bathe in two fluids ; the blood and the lymph. For the proper functioning of each of these cells, these fluids must remain clean. To insure that these fluids are kept clean, the body possesses four organs of elimination ; the intestines, the kidneys, the lungs and the skin. If these organs aren’t working properly then the acidic and toxic waste which is to be evacuated is stuck within the body which worsens our state of illness.

If the intestines and kidneys aren’t eliminating properly, either because they are fatigued or because the amount of waste is too much, the backed up waste is then eliminated by the skin if possible. This acidic waste irritates the skin which causes inflammation that we then call psoriasis, eczema, acne, etc.

This phenomena is necessary; the body doesn’t make any mistake. The body eliminates waste by whichever means necessary to restore proper health. Unfortunately, in our lack of understanding of skin reactions as intelligent responses, we think negatively of these symptoms and try to get rid of these by the use of creams, ointments, etc. In doing this, we are inhibiting our healing while worsening and prolonging our sickness.

We must learn to respect our body by understanding that the ability to heal is inherent to all living beings in nature. To support the healing process, we have to nourish the body appropriately which means with raw fruits and vegetables. Wild herbs can also be a powerful help in toning and encouraging the organs of the body in their functioning.
